Peter Gowers, InterContinental Hotels Group's new chief marketing officer, starts his job today. He will oversee seven brands across 100 countries, including Holiday Inn and Holiday Inn Express
(handled by Fallon) in the U.S. Total global spending is more then $450 million. Stay tuned to see if any agency changes are in the offing, but since Gowers is coming from in-house, current shops are
probably safe for now.
