Aegis Group, the media agency holding company that has been the subject of takeover talks, Thursday announced another acquisitions of its own, expanding its burgeoning Isobar digital media services
network. Meanwhile, French financier Vincent Bollore Thursday announed it had acquired another 3 million shares of Aegis stock, bringing his stake to 21.31 percent of Aegis voting shares. In deal
valued a $10.9 million, Aegis said it acquired leading French digital shops Planete Interactive and Webcontents, which will become part of Isobar. Planete Interactive and Webcontents merged early in
2005 and provide key elements of the Isobar service in France. Planete Interactive creates corporate websites and e-commerce platforms. Its clients include Christian Dior, Pierre et Vacances,
L'Oreal and PricewaterhouseCoopers. Webcontents creates and delivers digital content across online and mobile for clients such as France Telecom, Michelin and the World Wildlife Fund. -- Joe Mandese
