In yet another example of major marketers turning to the Internet to attract new customers, giant automaker General Motors is launching an Internet-based promotional deal with innovative retailer
Target for GM's Saturn division. Among other aspects, the deal calls for Saturn customers to get Target gift cards and, in a first for a non-Target brand, the Saturn logo will appear on the
retailer's Web site. Likewise, the Target bull's-eye logo will appear on Saturn materials.
