Magna Taps Reprise's Harris As First-Ever Media Responsibility Head

IPG Mediabrands' Magna unit has named Elijah Harris executive vice president-global digital partnerships and media responsibility, a new position at the company reflecting its push to advocate a more responsible media marketplace.

Harris, who joins from sister unit Reprise, where he was global head of social, reports to Magna U.S. President Dani Benowitz and will serve as "an industry advocate for media responsibility across all media types within Mediabrands."

Last year, during his role at Reprise, Harris led the creation of Mediabrands’ Media Responsibility Index, a tool to assess the impact of harmful content on social platforms and establish a benchmark for platform responsibility and roadmaps for improvement.

Before joining Mediabrands, he held performance marketing roles at Dentsu Aegis Network APAC, as well as roles at Channel Advisor, Sensis and Internet Brands.
