Larry Gerbrandt Moves To Nielsen Entertainment

Longtime Paul Kagan Associates analyst Larry Gerbrandt has been named senior vp and senior corporate analyst for Nielsen Entertainment. Nielsen Entertainment does consulting in film, television, mobile entertainment, video games, and other areas. Gerbrandt's main efforts will include benchmarking entertainment data the 'digital household'. This includes analyzing all media, entertainment, and technologies from venues such as on-demand, interactive, live events, music, mobile entertainment, and book entertainment, as well as data from sister companies Nielsen Media Research and Monitor Plus. The first Nielsen Entertainment Report--which was available for sale starting yesterday--is a study that was eight years in the making, and was conducted by Nielsen Media Research.
