In a development that greatly increases the TV programming utility of Apple's video iPod, Sony's PSP system and potentially other hand-held video-enabled devices, TiVo Monday unveiled a new feature in
its so-called TiVoToGo service that will enable subscribers to transfer recorded TV programs to iPods and PSP systems. TiVo estimates about 300,000 of its 3.6 million subscribers currently use its
TiVoToGo service, which originally was created to transfer programming to laptops and other portable computing devices. -- Joe Mandese
