"The athletic apparel and equipment retailer, which recently reported a record-breaking second quarter with a 19.2% increase in same-store sales, plans to hire up to 10,000 seasonal
workers for the holiday season, the most in its history,” according to
Chain Store Age. In 2020, Dick's added approximately 9,000 seasonal employees. The company also announced its
stores will be closed on Thanksgiving Day.
