Endeavor Business Media, the fast-growing diversified B2B media company, announced it appointed June Griffin, who joined the company in 2019, as president, effective immediately.
It is a newly created position.
Griffin joined Nashville, Tennessee-based Endeavor with the acquisition of a group of brands from PennWell Corporation in February 2019. She was promoted to Chief Marketing Officer in May of that year. Later, she was promoted to the role of CRO and CMO in April 2020.
In her new post, Griffin will have expanded responsibilities, working alongside CEO Chris Ferrell and the executive team managing performance and mapping the strategy for continued growth.
“Promoting June to president reflects the work she is already doing for Endeavor,” Ferrell said in a media statement. “June has been instrumental in driving the growth of our company as we integrated 11 companies (and counting) into our business in four short years.”

“June took disparate sales and marketing teams and forged processes that reflected the high standards we set for Endeavor. She has proven the ability to not only navigate the business through difficult market conditions, but also to chart the future direction of the company for long-term success." Ferrell said.
Before Endeavor, Griffin was Chief Marketing Officer at Tulsa, Oklahoma-based PennWell for seven years. Earlier, she held various senior business leadership and marketing roles in both B2B and B2C media, with companies in the U.S., U.K., China, Dubai and Australia.
Endeavor, backed by the private-equity firm Resolute Capital Partners, was formed in late 2017 to acquire and operate trade publications, sites, events and marketing solutions. It quickly went on a run of acquisitions, with brands coming in transactions from SouthComm and Informa, among others, in addition to PennWell.
Endeavor is now arguably the largest B2B media company in the U.S., with brands in various markets, including aviation, dental, facilities maintenance, fire & public safety, design engineering, buildings and construction and energy.
“I’m honored and excited to be given this opportunity to further influence and impact this business,” Griffin stated.
