We may not realize it here in the
U.S., but Great Britain is currently celebrating Queen Elizabeth II's Platinum Jubilee, the 70thanniversary of her ascension to the throne.
It was back in 1952, when Elizabeth, was
25 years old, that her father, King George VI, died and she took the title she has kept all these years.
A four-day Jubilee weekend starts this Friday.
McDonald’s chose to
celebrate the occasion by getting the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra to play the “I’m Lovin’ It” jingle. This video
details the orchestra’s attempt to do so. In truth, the jingle does sound very classy this way.
Congrats to Queen Elizabeth II!
