Monica Rodman To Serve As 'Washington Post' Video Editor

The Washington Post has appointed Monica Rodman to a new role as video editor focused on personal technology. 

Rodman will work with the Post’s Help Desk personal tech team to write scripts, develop explainers and stories and shoot and edit video pieces. 

Having joined the video team in 2018, Rodman has worked with  motion graphics editors and reporters to explore whether the attack on the Capitol was an attempted coup, and to explain such phenomena as the #FreeBritney movement and the Green Bay Sweep. 

In addition, Rodman has worked with Help Desk reporter Chris Velazco to show how apps are spying on kids. 

Rodman will return to the West Cost to work on this assignment.
