Sleep Retailer, a B2B quarterly, is closing after a 27-year run, according to Furniture Retailer. The summer 2022 issue is its last.
The product, founded in 1995 as Bedroom Magazine, also offered email newsletters and podcasts.
Sleep Retailer claims a readership of 13,180 retailers, 3,475-plus opt-in digital subscribers and newsletter open rates of nearly 30%.
Chris Schriever acquired the magazine in 2008 and “revived the legacy publication’s stagnating advertising program,” according to Furniture Retailer.
The magazine had not responded to a request for comment at deadline.
The title’s website does not mention the closure.
In addition to its print magazine and website, Sleep Retailer offers an online shop, described on the site as a “new affiliate partnership hub designed to help consumers discover and buy the latest sleep products.”
