Gmail Goes Mobile

  • December 19, 2005
Google Friday launched a mobile version of its Gmail service, allowing users of Web-enabled cell phones and mobile devices to access their e-mail on the go. The service automatically optimizes for the phone the user is accessing the site from, and allows for attachments such as documents and photos to be downloaded and accessed. Users can also reply to e-mails via the phone, if the sender's phone number is listed in their Gmail account.
