New York magazine’s noted food editors, Rob Patronite and Robin Raisfeld, have left the title after 32 years.
The “Robs,” as they
were called, wrote co-bylined stories on New York City’s restaurant scene, along with The Underground Gourmet and In Season columns, according to Eater New York, which reported the
news.
This follows the departure of restaurant critic Adam Platt in June.
New York “has some
big shoes to fill,” said chef and restaurant owner Sam Yoo, according to Grub Street.
Yoo added that, with “savvy, stylistic writing that feels fresh,
cheeky, and downright ‘New York,’ they manage to cover their subjects with thoughtful insight and integrity.”
The pair also authored a cookbook: "In
Season."
The Robs apparently are not commenting on their departures.
