'Vogue' Plans Combo Runway Show-Street Fair For New York Fashion Week

Vogue will present a styled runway show featuring looks from the Fall/Winter 2022 collections of top designers during New York Fashion Week on September 12.

The event is titled VOGUE World: New York.

The showcased designers include Balenciaga, Dior, Gucci, Valentino, Burberry, Coach, Michael Kors,  Bode, Conner Ives, Ralph Lauren, and Tory Burch.

“Fashion is changing and Vogue is doing something special to celebrate it—a fashion show-meets-street fair that captures the creative spirit of our community now," states Anna Wintour, chief content officer, Condé Nast and global editorial director, Vogue.

Wintour adds, “In many ways New York is fashion. It's a magnet drawing those who deeply love fashion and we wanted to honor that.”

Collaborating on the event are Vogue models and personalities, Vogue contributing fashion editor Alex Harrington, director Bardia Zeinali and music director Benji B, and Bureau Betak.

In-person attendees will have access to a street fair experience made up of Vogue-curated newsstands and limited edition items in partnership with some of fashion’s top brands, and a shoppable selection of looks from such partners as Moda Operandi, NET-A-PORTER and Nordstrom and Ssense.

At-home viewers can tune into the event via a cinematic livestream on Vogue.com and websites owned and operated by Vogue globally, the Vogue Runway app, and Twitter.

VOGUE World: New York will feature an augmented reality activation in partnership with Snap Inc. featuring custom AR Lenses that will transform the runway for both Vogue World attendees and Snapchatters everywhere.
