A digital interior design
magazine, The Work of Design, has debuted, featuring content to help professionals in the field.
The new publication is being offered by Studio Designer, a digital
management and accounting platform for the design industry.
The Work of Design will feature articles, interviews with design leaders like Suzanne
Kasler, Ken Fulk and Cary Kravet, a glossary and information on events.
“Our goal is to create a diverse set of resources that can help interior designers of all types,
from residential to hospitality, and at any stage of their career from owners of large firms to design students just entering the field,” states Keith Granet, CEO of Studio
Designer.
Granet adds that “no matter how much talent an interior designer has, if they cannot run a successful business, their talents will not be fully
realized.”

The Work of Design team will also offer virtual and in-person events. Its inaugural webcast, The Work of Design LIVE, took place last
month.
The publication will serve a fragmented industry with over 13,000 interior design firms across the U.S., the firm notes. Practitioners are often frustrated when trying to glean
best practices and input on running a successful design firm.
Earlier this month, Studio Designer took on a new investor, Serent Capital.
