As in previous years, online shopping reached its peak the second week in December, with revenues of about $3.069 billion alone the week ending Dec. 11, according to comScore. But, unlike previous

week in December was larger, with revenues falling from $2.569 billion to $2.353 billion for the corresponding time period in 2004, and from $2.189 billion to $1.562 billion in 2003.
