Fortune is working with the production company Unrealistic Ideas to create a documentary about crypto firm FTX.
The project combines “the award-winning journalistic resources of Fortune with Unrealistic Ideas’ well-known storytelling prowess,” says Fortune EICAlyson Shontell.
Shontell and Crypto Editor Jeff John Roberts will be executive producers, along with Mark Wahlberg, Stephen Levinson, Archie Gips, and John Weston, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Unrealistic Ideas is the production company behind the McMillions, TV programming that was nominated for an Emmy award.
The documentary is designed to provide a 360-degree personal look at the entire FTX saga. It focuses on the relationship between FTX founder Sam Bankman-Fried and Binance founder and CEO Changpeng “CZ” Zhao.
“The tumultuous relationship between SBF and CZ has played out to a certain extent in articles and on Twitter, but this definitive documentary will give people a 360 degree personal look at the entire FTX saga,” Shontell states.
