Video Content Platform Raises $8 Million In Funding

GlossAI, provider of an AI-driven video generator that allows publishers and other organizations to create content using generative AI capabilities, has raised $8 million in seed funding.

The round was led by New Era Capital Partners with participation by Guidestar ventures, 97212 Ventures, MindCET Ventures, Ginossar Ventures, Maccabee Ventures, Rafi Gidron, Zipris Family and Barak Goldstein.

The Tel Aviv-based company will use the funding to further expand its global presence and develop additional AI capabilities.

“GlossAi is using Generative AI to enable companies with hundreds of hours of video and audio to create relevant materials for different platforms,” states Ran Simha, Managing Partner, New Era Capital Partners.

The tool allows teams to generate share-worthy short-form videos, trailers, eBooks, blog posts, carousel images, and more from existing content, which is packaged for the intended medium, the company claims.

In addition, GlossAi analyzes parameters such as text, tone, pace, facial expressions, and audience engagement to achieve human-like content generation in near-real time, it claims.

“Based on the creative ways our enterprise customers are using our technology, we see webinars with their own trailers, podcasts promoted on TikTok, eBooks created from classes, and more,” states Ofer Familier, co-founder and CEO at GlossAi.

The company notes that short-form video consumption has increases, as shown YouTube's 15 billion shorts views and TikTok headed toward 1.8 billion daily users.
