Radio are all gunning for Apple's top spot. One new video MP3 player from EchoStar has a bigger screen and lets users watch TV for free by downloading DVR programming directly to their players.
Several companies, from Samsung to Microsoft, took pot shots at Apple, which was conspicuous by its absence during CES, Reuters said, To be sure, it will be tough for Apple's competitors to steal
market share, given its estimated marketing might of $4.5 billion. The iPod has a 75 percent share of the MP3 market.
