Jane Pratt, the founding editor of Sassy, Jane and XOJane.com, is partnering with Carolyn Rafaelian, founder of the jewelry brands Metal Alchemist and Alex and Ani, to launch a new editorial brand and marketplace: DeedDa.

In a departure from Pratt’s prior offerings, DeedDa will target all ages and genders. 

“Reuniting with some of my most favorite artists, finding new ones to showcase, while welcoming readers back and bringing new people into the community–it’s the most fun thing in the world,” states Pratt, who is serving as founder & editorial director of DeedDa.

Pratt adds, “It's been a longtime dream of mine to make the unique products we feature editorially easily available to readers through an ecommerce marketplace. 

In line with that, DeedDa will have a curated online marketplace that will offer a range of products, including some published by Rafaelian Brands of Rhode Island. 

Contributors will be such writers and stars as  Cher, Courteney Cox, Courtney Love, Cat Marnell, Christina Kelly and Ani Ferlise. 

Pratt started Sassy in 1988.
