McDonald’s is
adding a new iteration of the Quarter Pounder with Cheese and a Grimace Shake starting in June according to Chew Boom.
The Grimace Shake -- named after the character introduced 52 years ago as
one of the crew that attempts to steal hamburgers and cheeseburgers from Ronald McDonald -- will be available on its own or as part of a new Grimace Birthday Meal. That features a medium Grimace
Shake, medium fries and the choice of a 10-piece Chicken McNuggets or Big Mac.
The Grimace Shake is described as a “purple, berry-flavored shake with whipped topping,” according to
the report.
The new Cheesy Jalapeno Bacon Quarter Pounder with Cheese features a Quarter Pounder patty with two slices of American cheese, three half-strips of applewood-smoked bacon, cheese
sauce and pickled jalapenos, served on a sesame seed bun.

The Grimace Shake will be available June12, while the Cheesy Jalapeno Bacon Quarter Pounder with Cheese will go on sale starting June
20.
The Grimace Birthday Meal is expected to be priced around $10. According to the Instagram page @snackolator, McDonald’s will also
be dropping limited-edition Grimace-themed merchandise for the celebration.
McDonald’s appears to be embracing its recent past characters, including Grimace. In 2022, the chain brought
back some of its classic characters from Cactus Plant Flea Market, a streetwear brand known for depictions of faces with four eyes.
