Mark Howard To Serve As COO At 'Time'

Time has named Mark Howard as its chief operating officer. He will be based in the New York office, reporting directly to me. 

Howard will focus on “continuing to accelerate our digital transformation and optimizing operations across the organization,” Time CEO Jessica Sibley wrote in a note to staff.  “He will oversee print, digital, technology, consumer marketing, e-commerce, licensing, web3 and finance.” 

Previously, Howard was chief business officer at OpenWeb, leading data products and solutions, business development, and partnerships. Howard has also served as chief advertising and partnerships officer at Penske Media Corporation (PMC) and as chief revenue offier at Forbes. 

Howard will report to Sibley. 

Reporting to Howard are Maya Draisin, chief brand officer; Burhan Hamid, SVP of data, product and engineering; Sharon Milz, VP of infrastructure; Rob Foppiani, EVP of finance, and Jeff Li, SVP and GM of digital.

“I will continue to have oversight of Time Sites, with VP of Customer Success Kristina Valkanoff and VP of Technology Matson Wade reporting to me,” Sibley added.
