States Newsroom Launches Newsletter To Cover 2024 Election

States Newsroom has launched a newsletter to help readers make sense of the 2024 presidential campaign.

The new product, Countdown ‘24, will feature reporting from States Newsroom’s  34 outlets, including the Iowa Capital Dispatch and New Hampshire Bulletin, and over 170 reporters nationwide.

Countdown ’24 will appear weekly on Mondays. It is edited by Robin Opsahl of the Iowa Capital Dispatch and veteran Iowa caucus journalist Kathie Obradovich.

“The race for president begins with a marathon across primaries and caucuses around the country, and we are thrilled to be able to showcase the excellent stories from our local reporters who understand the dynamics in their state best,” says Chris Fitzsimon, director and publisher of States Newsroom.

Fitzsimon adds,“We’re launching Countdown ‘24 to provide a one-stop-shop for on-the-ground coverage on the states and dynamics that will help decide the next President of the United States.”
