Terry Ward, vice president and regional publisher at Sound Publishing, is leaving that post to start his own company: Ward Media.
Ward, who has acquired five
community newspapers in recent months, will focus on “delivering quality journalism and providing results-driven marketing and advertising services,” says Josh O’Connor,
president of Sound Publishing, according to a story in Peninsula Daily News.
Ward will continue working with Sound Publishing through August, the
paper adds.
Eran Kennedy will succeed Ward as publisher of the Peninsula Daily News, Sequim Gazette and Forks
Forum.
Ward became publisher of the Peninsula Daily News, Gazette and Forum in 2015.
Sound Publishing, based in Everett, Washington, is
one of divisions of Black Press Group Ltd. of Surrey, B.C., and Victoria, the Peninsula Daily News continues.
