Blaze Media Acquires 'Return' And 'Align'

Blaze Media has acquired Return and Align, two new media brands from New Founding, a venture firm and talent network with a conservative orientation.

The terms were not disclosed.

The purchase is part of Blaze Media’s expansion in the digital media industry.

Return covers the commerce and culture of the tech industry, including the need for healthy habits. It has a community promoting the latter.

Align is a publication that also encourages subscribers to live a healthier life, particularly in regard to the goods and services they buy and use.

New Founding’s co-founder Matthew Peterson will become Blaze Media’s editor-in-chief.

In addition, James Poulos, host of BlazeTV’s “Zero Hour,” will serve as editor at large and continue as founder and editorial director of Return. Several other members of the New Founding media team will also come on board.
