
Canadian coffee chain Tim Hortons today
announced its first foray into the U.S. retail market. Hortons Cold Brew concentrate will be available in participating Walmart stores and regional U.S. grocery locations in the U.S.
The chain currently operates 600 QSR locations in the U.S.
Tim Hortons Cold Brew concentrate will be packed in 32-ounce multi-serve bottles, available in four flavors: Medium Blend
Black, Birthday Cake, Cinnamon Swirl and Mocha Cereal. The concentrate.
This past weekend Tim Hortons also launched Tim’s Boat Thru—a floating pop-up location on
Ontario’s Lake Scugog to serve seafaring visitors.
Hortons customers piloting various watercraft, including motorized boats, canoes, kayaks and paddleboards, won’t need to dock to
receive their beverages.
“Our summers fly by so quickly, and Canadians savor every moment of their long weekends -- so we thought, why not open our first-ever Tim’s Boat Thru so
our guests on Lake Scugog don't miss a minute on the water," Hope Bagozzi, chief marketing officer for the brand, said in its announcement.

The floating location opened this three-day
weekend, known as Civic Holiday in Canada, which is a public holiday celebrated on the first Monday in August. Drink options included limited free summer beverages including the Caramel Toffee Cold
Brew, Vanilla Iced Latte, Blackberry Yuzu and Orange Ginger Sparkling Quenchers.
Canada’s largest restaurant chain with over 4000 units across the country, Tim Hortons coffee chain
opened in Hamilton, Ontario in 1964. The brand currently has approximately 5,600 restaurants across 15 countries, including the United States, Mexico, Spain, the United Kingdom, across the Middle
East, China, India, Thailand, and the Philippines.
The chain also recently announced an expected expansion into the South Korean Market later this year. Hortons entered a master franchise
agreement with BKR Co. Ltd., one of the largest QSR companies in South Korea.
