Asian culinary chain P.F. Chang’s announced this week it has opened its first location in India -- at the Bangalore International Airport -- spearheading its further expansion into that country.
The chain intends to add several more new locations in the coming months in Mumbai, as well as other cities in India.
The Bangalore location will be run by franchisee HMSHost, which operates food and beverage locations in 120 airports.
The expansion will reach Mumbai later this year with franchisee Gourmet Investments Pvt Ltd (GIPL) opening a new bistro location. GIPL also plans to launch additional locations in the Delhi National Capital Region in 2024. The franchisee has also introduced PizzaExpress, Chili's and Ministry of Crab stores to the county.
P.F. Chang's opened its first international location in Mexico and Kuwait in 2009 and has since opened more than 90 restaurants in 22 countries, in addition to more than 200 locations in the United States. The locations include full-scale bistro restaurants, flagship stores and P.F. Chang's-To-Go options.

Chang's has also launched the Lucky 8 Happy Hour menu at select locations across the U.S., available weekday between 3 to 6 p.m. The special menu features new cocktails, like the Lychee Cosmo, Mojito, Tropical Tiki and a Sparkling Paloma.
