
Racer Media & Marketing and Sports Car Club of
America have ended their 40-year publishing relationship.
The January/February 2024 issue of SportsCar magazine will be its last.
“The media, marketing and communications landscape has changed profoundly since our first issue of SportsCar in 1984,” writes Paul Pfanner, founder and
CEO of Racer Media & Marketing.
“As a result, both the SCCA and Racer Media & Marketing are undertaking new initiatives in 2024 to take advantage of the accelerating revolution
in media and content distribution technologies.”
Pfanner says the Racer team will soon announce a new project.
The magazine debuted under the title
Sportswagen in 1944.
