IHOP Partners With Game Developer For New Fall Menu

Today IHOP launched its fall menu, which, in addition to the expected seasonal Pumpkin Spice pancakes and a new Pumpkin Spice Cold Foam Cold Brew, also includes additional menu updates and a collaboration with the global game “Magic: The Gathering Arena."

 IHOP teamed up with  developer Wizards of the Coast to offer digital content in the 30-year-old game, which  has over 50 million fans in more than 150 countries

Now through Nov. 5, IHOP rewards program members can redeem awards for codes that are good for 2,000 experience points.

Also through Nov. 5, IHOP offers a new custom Magic-themed menu featuring five specialty pancakes: Ajani’s Purr-fect Pancakes (original buttermilk)’ Jace’s Illusion-Berry Pancakes (double blueberry); Liliana’s Chocolate Corruption Pancakes (chocolate chocolate chip); Chandra’s Pyroblast Pancakes (strawberry banana;) and Vivien’s Heroic Protein Pancakes (protein power).

Other menu updates include new Waffle varieties and combos, including Strawberry Cheesecake and Oreo Cookie Crumble. The chain has expanded its savory options and sides as well, adding Nashville Hot Chicken Melt, a new Steakburger featuring an Impossible burger patty, pot roast and country fried Steak, among others. Sides include tomato basil soup, Impossible sausage and biscuits.

“This fall, we have kicked it up a notch by delivering a dedicated biscuits menu and expanded our popular waffles to include Nashville Hot Chicken & Waffles and a Waffle Sundae so that our guests can enjoy (IHOP) any time of day,” said Kieran Donahue, chief marketing officer of IHOP, in a release.

In addition to limited-time-only pumpkin spice options, IHOP has also added a Vanilla Creamy Cold Foam Cold Brew to its drink menu.
