TikTok users who dislike advertising have a new way of avoiding it: They can pay $4.99 per month for an ad-free experience, Android Authority reports. 

The price could go up when the testing phase is over.  

There has been no official announcement seen, and Android Authority assumes this is a limited test. The new service presumably could be rolled out depending on its success, the report says.   

YouTube also offers an ad-free service. But last month, it announced it would end its Premium Lite subscription, while requiring viewers to take a full Premium subscription. This service costs $14 per month.
