Blaze Media, a conservative media company that claims a reach of
over 165 million per month, has moved to an ad-free, subscription-only business model. It claims to be the first in the conservative field to do so.
The change was
effective on Tuesday.
Subscribers can now access content from personalities such as Glenn Beck, Jason Whitlock, Mark Levin, Steve Deace and Allie Beth Stuckey without the disruption of
digital ads.
The new Blaze website also incorporates the recently acquired publications Align and Return, as well as reporting from its recently
formed news investigation team, along with lifestyle and technology verticals.
“Our dedicated subscribers understand the need to avoid the censorship that comes from relying on the
politicized practices of Big Tech and their advertising networks,” says Matthew Peterson, editor in chief of Blaze Media, who will head the new ad-free site. “We are able to transition to
a subscription-only business model because of their continued support.”
Subscribers to blazemedia.com will pay $5 per month. A subscription to the company’s streaming service
BlazeTV+, formerly BlazeTV, costs $120 per year.
