Fast casual pizza chain Pieology is enhancing its Pie Life Rewards loyalty program with a new extension, Pies and Perks.

Through Dec. 31, the Irvine, California-based chain will give all Pie Life Rewards Members Pies and Perks status. The new program’s highlight is that members can pick a free perk like a side salad, cookie or non-alcoholic beverage, alongside their Craft Your Own Pizza purchase.

Additionally, members who purchase any Craft Your Own Pizza by the end of 2023 will automatically receive Pies and Perks membership for all of 2024.

"As we introduce new menu items, the daily perks provide an easy way to explore everything that Pieology has to offer," said Shawn Thompson, chief executive officer of Pieology, in a release.

The chain is also currently running a $5 off customers’ first order promo though its website at pieology.com.

Pieology’s pizza franchise specializes in 'craft your own' personal pizzas with a range of options, including gluten-free, dairy-free, vegan, vegetarian crusts, sauces and toppings.

The approximately 115-unit chain was founded in 2011 in Tustin, California, by Carl Chang, the brother of former tennis player Michael Chang. The majority of the locations are in California, with seven locations each in Texas and Florida.
