The whimsy of the upcoming Warner Bros. Pictures’ “Wonka” has arrived at IHOP, with a lineup of menu items inspired by the new film take on the Roald Dahl classic story, set to debut in theaters Dec. 15.
Nine-Wonka inspired offerings will be available nationwide beginning today through Jan. 7.
“IHOP has established itself as a highly … collaborative theatrical partner in the family dining category, and the latest Wonka menu is the brand’s most creative partnership yet,” Kieran Donahue, chief marketing officer, IHOP, said in the announcement.
The new menu items include Wonka’s Perfectly Purple Pancakes -- purple buttermilk pancakes layered with cheesecake mousse and topped with purple cream cheese icing, whipped topping and gold glitter sugar; and Hoverchoc Pancake Tacos, three silver dollar chocolate pancakes folded and filled with chocolate chips, cheesecake mousse, sliced strawberries, a chocolate drizzle and served with extra strawberries on the side.; Willy’s Jr. French Toast Dippers, are French toast slices with a side of fresh strawberries, banana and chocolate dipping sauce.

Wonka influence extends beyond the breakfast menu with the Fantastical Wonka Burger, beef steak burger with lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, four-cheese blend, avocado, two strips of bacon, fried hash browns, IHOP sauce and a ranch drizzle on a brioche bun.
IHOP beverages even get in on the Wonka-themed fun. Dreamy Lemonade is a prickly pear-flavored lemonade served with a cream cheese icing rainbow sprinkle rim and topped with a cloud of cotton candy, and the Scrumdiddlyumptious Strawberry Hot Chocolate is hot chocolate flavored with strawberry syrup, topped with whipped topping, a drizzle of chocolate sauce and gold glitter sugar.
For dine-in customers, kids 12 and under can receive one Wonka item free with the purchase of an adult entrée, today through Jan. 7.
