Vanessa Kingori is leaving her post as chief business officer of Condé Nast Britain to join Google as managing director of tech, media and telecoms for the UK.
Kingori, who has worked at Condé Nast for 15 years, will join Google early next year and report to Debbie Weinstein, vice president and managing director of Google UK and Ireland.
“As the UK continues to solidify its standing as a global leader in AI, businesses across the country have an extraordinary opportunity to harness this powerful technology to transform their operations, expand into new markets, and achieve unprecedented growth,” Weinstein says, according to Press Gazette.
In addition, Google has appointed Sophie Neary and Dyana Najdi as managing directors.
Kingori has served as publishing director of British Vogue, and British GQ, Press Gazette reports. Earlier this year, Kingori was awarded the title of Officer of the Order of the British Empire for her services to the media industry, it continues.
