Last year delivery drivers brought
11.7 billion pieces of mail and packages to Americans during the holiday season. And although pizza isn’t counted among those deliveries, Pizza Hut thought other drivers could use their own
delivery as well -- of pizza, of course.
Consumers can participate in the “Leave a Box, Get a Box" promotion by checking into shopatpizzahut.com to order one of the 50 free
doormats released daily at 8 A.M. CT on a first-come, first-serve basis. Those winning customers will receive a Pizza Hut doormat that, along with the Pizza Hut logo, reads “Leave a box, get a
box,” and “Dear Delivery Drivers, scan for a pizza present,” with a visible QR code. Any delivery person who approaches the door can scan the doormat and will receive the opportunity
to redeem a gift card code from Pizza Hut for a pie of their own, while supplies last, through Dec. 27.

"Many of us look to delivery drivers to deliver joy during the holiday season," said
Lindsay Morgan, CMO at Pizza Hut, in the release. "This was our chance to give some cheer back in the form of a meal for delivery drivers to enjoy during their busiest time of the year."
As
far as its own customers goes, Pizza Hut is promoting its annual Triple Treat Box, which features a holiday-themed box (while supplies last) containing two medium, one-topping pizzas, five
breadsticks and ten Cinnabon Mini Rolls. The family meal deal is available for $24.99 (prices may vary in different part of the country) for a limited time.
