Dow Jones has announced a platform that it says will foster financial literacy. It will debut in 2024 on dowjones.com.
Joe Lanza will rejoin the
company to lead the program’s development. He previously held numerous roles there, including as president of Dow Jones Financial Markets Group, Director of Financial Education
at Dow Jones Media Group and founder of the long-running Barron’s in Education program.
Operation HOPE, a non-profit organization focused on financial literacy, will
be a launch partner.
The platform will feature a curated selection of service journalism, analysis and other resources from The Wall Street Journal,
Barron’s, MarketWatch, Investor’s Business Daily and select partners.
“Financial literacy is core to Dow Jones and we are delighted to offer this new
platform which will help equip people with trusted information, tools and resources to better understand and navigate their personal finances,” says Almar Latour, CEO of Dow Jones and Publisher
of The Wall Street Journal.
