Today Chipotle announced a partnership
with fitness community app Stava, giving users a chance to win free Lifestyle bowls for a year.
Strava is a leading digital app-based community for active people that allows them to track
their fitness activities.
The collab added “Chipotle Segments” to the Stava app -- parts of roads and trails in key markets including New York, Los Angeles, Chicago and
Washington, D.C., each ending at a Chipotle restaurant. Users can compete in challenges for the fastest times finishing these segments.
The participant in each market who achieves Local Legend
(LCL) status on the Strava app will receive free Lifestyle Bowls for a year.
“We know getting through January is always the hardest hill to climb on the journey toward health and
wellness goals,” said Chris Brandt, chief brand officer for Chipotle, in a release. “With the help of challenges on the Strava platform and our curated Lifestyle Bowls, we are giving our
fans the right tools to sustain healthy habits and win in 2024.”

One of the app’s other “streak” challenges takes place from Jan. 15 through Jan. 28, rewarding
customers with a free side of guacamole for logging at least 20 minutes of activity twice per week.
The chain has also announced its 2024 line-up of Lifestyle Bowls, which include: the
Balanced Macros Bowl with light white rice, black beans, chicken, fajita veggies, tomato salsa, guac, and extra romaine lettuce; Wholesome Bowl, which has the super greens lettuce blend, chicken,
fajita veggies, tomato salsa and guac; and the Keto Salad Bowl, which includes super greens lettuce blend, chicken, tomatillo-red chili salsa, tomato salsa, sour cream and cheese;
And on
national “Quitter’s Day” -- Jan. 12, where people are known to quit their newly made New Year’s resolutions -- the first 30,000 Chipotle Rewards members who order a Lifestyle
Bowl on the Chipotle app or Chipotle.com will receive a free Lifestyle Bowl offer in their account one week later.
