No, it’s not the Dollarita, but close. This week Applebee’s announced the return of the chain’s Saintly Sips cocktails in honor of the unofficial holiday of drinking, St. Patrick’s Day.
The Saintly Sips consist of two different themed alcoholic drink options. The Tipsy Leprechaun is a sort of Long Island iced tea but with an Irish influence, consisting of Jameson Irish Whiskey, melon liqueur, blue curaçao, lemon sour, lemon-lime soda and rimmed in gold sugar. The new Pot O’ Gold Daq-A-Rita is a Patrón Silver margarita and Bacardi Superior Rum daiquiri blended with triple sec, mango and a gold sugar rim.
They may not be a dollar, but they’re still easy on the wallet; the Tipsy Leprechaun is $5, and the Pot O’ Gold Daq-A-Rita is $7, for a limited time.

On the non-alcoholic side, the chain offers a Rainbow Lemonades, which are fruit flavored or lemonade beverages topped with a candy rainbow.
The brand is leaning into value with these offerings, according to Patrick Kirk, vice president of beverage innovation at Applebee’s, who notes that the specialty drinks “are the perfect way to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day without emptying your pockets.”
Separately, in another budget-friendly move, Applebee’s also added two new Sizzlin’ Skillets as choices to its two entrees for $25 menu: the Garlic Sirloin Skillet or the White Cheddar Bacon and Chicken Skillet, with an appetizer or side salad.
