'Variety' Names Rachel Seo as Social Media Editor

Rachel Seo has been promoted to the title of social media editor of Variety.
Seo joined the entertainment publication in 2022. Previously, she served in event marketing at VidCon, the live media division of ViacomCBS.
She is part of the team that has helped Variety draw more than 12 million followers across TikTok, X, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and other outlets as of this month.
“Rachel’s understanding of editorial growth and engagement with Variety’s audience is only matched by her great attitude and willingness to embrace new ideas,” says William Earl, editor of Variety.com.
