Chicken, burgers, shrimp and more are heading your way this week as spring seasonal menus dominate.

Red Robin Gourmet Burgers has added the Lava Queso Burger, topped with chipotle aioli, onions, grilled poblanos, tomato and queso fundido. The brand is promoting the burger in conjunction with science fair season, by “rewarding parents who have experienced lava of another sort – those messy school science fair volcanoes – with a free Lava Queso Burger.” From April 2-9, customers can enter for a chance to win the burger via Red Robin’s Instagram.

Smoothie King will add the Eclipse Berry Blitz smoothie to its menu from Mar. 27 through April 8 in honor of the solar eclipse taking place on April 8. The smoothie is made with bananas, blueberries, apples, blueberry juice blend, white grape lemon juice blend, protein blend and blue spirulina.

Wendy'sannounced the arrival of its new Orange Dreamsicle Frosty. The seasonal flavor, reminiscent of a classic childhood treat .combines orange flavor with the chain’s vanilla Frosty and is available for a limited time.

Zaxby's has added Southern Fried Shrimp as its latest limited time offer, marking the first seafood addition to the chain’s menu. The dish features butterflied shrimp breaded with garlic and onion powder, seasoned with pepper and buttermilk, and fried, served with zesty Zaxtail Sauce which is a blend of the brand's iconic Zax Sauce and cocktail sauce with horseradish. The chain is offering a free side of four Southern Fried Shrimp with a $5 purchase from Mar. 25 until Mar. 31.

Locations

Beard Papa's announced its expansion into California's Central Valley with its newest location in Tracy, California. The Japanese dessert shop specializing in cream puffs will hold a grand opening on Mar. 30.

The Honey Baked Ham Company recently announced its latest signed agreement with The Davis Restaurant Group to open a new location in Hagerstown, Maryland. The franchisee group owns and operates 17 Honey Baked stores across six states, with plans to open seven more by 2025. 

Pickleman's Gourmet Café is opening the first of six new locations in North Texas this month. In the city of McKinney, the new Pickleman's Gourmet Cafe will serve sandwiches, salads, soups and tavern style pizzas.

Slice House by Tony Gemignani, the fast-casual pizza franchise from pizzaiolo (pizza specialist) Tony Gemignani, announced the signing of a multiunit franchise agreement for 11 new locations throughout Tennessee beginning in 2025. The new stores bring the chain’s total number of locations to 120 franchise units.
