The Information has hired Anita Ramaswamy as a financial analysis writer, starting on April 29.  

Ramaswamy joins from Reuters, where she was part of the Breakingviews analysis team. 

She will contribute to the True Value franchise of analytical columns.

Prior to Reuters, Ramaswamy was a senior reporter and podcast host at Techcrunch, and has also worked as an investment banking analyst at Wells Fargo Securities, giving her “expertise which will come in handy in her new role at The Information," writes Martin Peers, New York bureau chief for The Information.

Her analytical pieces have appeared on Reddit, Cloudfare and Nvidia. 

Ramaswamy will be based in San Francisco after a stint in New York.
