'Business Insider' Hires Ari Isaacman D'Angelo As Chief Communications Officer

Business Insider has named Ari Isaacman D'Angelo as chief communications officer, responsible for shaping the company’s story and highlighting its journalism.

Previously, Isaacman D'Angelo was a managing director at FGS Global, a strategic advisory and communications consultancy, and spent seven years at The New York Times, starting as a growth editor in the newsroom and later was a spokesperson and director of communications.

Prior to that, she served as a spokesperson for the White House Office of Management and Budget.

“Ari is an outstanding addition to the team and embodies the qualities that Business Insider is all about: she is optimistic, driven, and has a get-better-every-day mindset,” says Barbara Peng, CEO of Business Insider. “She brings impeccable PR acumen to the business, and I couldn’t be happier that she’s joining the team.”
