The Dollarita is back this year, just in time for Cinco De
Mayo with new flavors and additional specials.
Applebee’s announced the popular dollar cocktail’s return this week for the month of May, several months earlier than last
year’s October promo. In addition to the classic Dollarita made with
tequila, triple sec and lime for $1, customer can now add strawberry or mango flavors for an additional 50 cents.
Introduced in 2017, the Dollarita promotion is a hotly anticipated yearly
event for Applebee’s customers. Dozens of posts on Tik Tok, Instagram and other platforms began appearing as soon as promotion began May 1 of this year, mostly celebrating the drink’s
month-long return and the antics that ensue after customers have a Dollarita (or 3).

Also returning this year is Applebee’s Cerveza & Sips cocktail program, which highlights
beer and specialty cocktails. This year’s round includes Dos Equis Brewtus on draft and the Rock & Berry Rita, which is a strawberry margarita with Dwayne “The Rock”
Johnson’s Teremana Blanco Tequila served in Applebee’s Mucho glass, both for $5.
This marks a lower price point for the chain’s Cerveza & Sips promo, which last year was $6.
Also new is the Breaking Rock Rita, a margarita with Aaron Paul and Bryan
Cranston’s Dos Hombres Mezcal and Teremana Tequila with blue curacao, lime, and a rock candy garnish, poured tableside and served with a chilled shaker tin for $9.
Moving on to food
specials, the chain has introduced Chicken & Bacon Loaded Fries for a limited time. The loaded fries are tossed with chicken tenders, cheddar cheese, bacon, ranch and parsley, and served with a
side ranch dressing.
