Summer thirst (and sweet tooth) quenchers are in full effect this week.

Locations

CKE Restaurants Holdings, Inc. has announced a new agreement with Boparan Restaurant Group to develop Carl's Jr. restaurants in the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland. The menu will include Carl’s Jr. items such as chargrilled burgers, Chicken Tenders, and Ice-Cream Shakes. The agreement adds to Carl’s overseas presence, which already includes nearly 100 locations across Spain, France, Denmark, Turkey and Switzerland.

Marco’s Pizza has opened its newest location, in Caldwell, Idaho. According to the brand the opening marks the first step in the chain’s expansion of the brand's footprint throughout the Northwest, with up to 12 locations open in the greater Boise market.

Pizza Factory has signed an agreement for a new location in Paradise, California. The family friendly brand specializes in fresh hand-tossed pizza, pasta, wings, sandwiches, salads, beer and wine.

Menus

Chick-fil-A will add two items to its menu June 10 for a limited time. The new Maple Pepper Bacon Sandwich contains a lemon-herb-marinated boneless chicken breast, on a toasted maple flavored brioche bun and topped with Pepper Jack cheese, lettuce, bacon tossed in a brown sugar and pepper blend and sweet and spicy pickles. And it's the 15^th year of the chain’s Peach Milkshake, which combines Chick-fil-A's signature Icedream dessert with peach puree, topped with whipped cream and a cherry

Hardee’s has added a Blueburry Biscuit to its breakfast-only menu. Available now through Sept. 2, the biscuit contains blueberry flavor topped with icing. The chain is also now offering hand-crafted lemonades and new Chicken Tender Platters,

Paris Baguette has introduced a limited-time menu for the summer season full of sweet treats. Featured are a Lemon Supreme Croissant, Chocolate Supreme Croissant, Lemon Iced Mochi Donut, Lemon Custard King Cream Donut, Lemon Citrus Layer Cake (also available as a slice) and a Summer Berry Trifle Cake. For drinks the chain has begun serving a Watermelon Lemonade Refresher, Mango Lemonade Refresher, and has brought back Caramel Coconut Lattes, which are available hot, iced or a new frozen variety. In the savory category, Paris has introduced a Jalapeno-Cheddar Stuffed Croissant, Hawaiian Jalapeno Quiche and Chicken Bacon Ranch Pizzetta, Chicken Caesar Wrap, Chicken Bacon Ranch Salad and Chicken Bacon Ranch Baguette.
