With National Burger Day celebrated nationwide May 28, Red Robin decided it was a perfect opportunity to launch its revamped customer loyalty program.
The new program, entitled Red Robin Royalty, is based on the results of an internal customer survey, per the brand. In the survey, conducted late last year, “more than half of guest respondents indicated that they are looking to earn more rewards faster.”
So members will earn one point for every dollar spent on qualifying purchases, not just entrees, as was the case in the previous program. For every 100 points earned, members will receive a $10 reward to use on a future purchashe.
Additional perks include sneak peeks and early access to new menu items, exclusive offers, free birthday burgers (including kids’ birthday burgers), plus a free appetizer for new members when they sign up. The program currently has over 13 million members, per the brand. To sign up for Red Robin Royalty and earn rewards, customers must download the Red Robin app.
First opened in 1969 in Seattle, Red Robin now operates over 500 locations across the U.S. and Canada. In addition to burgers, the chain also serves salads, appetizers, entrees, desserts, beverages and Donatos Pizza at select stores.
