Gannett and the USA Today Network have signed on as media content partners of Confederation of North, Central America and Caribbean Association Football (Concacaf), the international soccer group for North and Central America, and the Caribbean.
The 2024 Champions Cup Final will be played this Saturday, June 1 in Pachuca, Mexico, between CF Pachuca (Mexico) and Columbus Crew (USA).
Full coverage of the competitions has been provided by USA Today Sports, Pro Soccer Wire and the USA Today Network.
“As we witness the rise in popularity of men’s football across the country, we know our dedicated sports audience continues to crave exclusive coverage,” says Lesley Webster, executive director of enterprise and distributed partnerships at Gannett. “The USA Today Network is well positioned to draw attention to these exciting club competitions.”
Concacaf includes 41 Member Associations covering Canada, Guyana, Suriname, and French Guiana.
“With the support of Gannett, we have made the Champions Cup more available and – crucially – more relevant to fans and consumers across North America,” says Philippe Moggio, general secretary of Concacaf.
