A monthly crypto title that appeals to readers' base instincts is about to debut — in print.
Superbasedd will bring the web3 culture men, and will feature women on its cover, CoinDesk writes.
"We're all dudes, we're all degenerates, and if there's one thing I know about degenerate dudes, they love women,” Superbasedd founder Steve McHugh told CoinDesk. “And that's a really good way to start a brand.”
McHugh was co-founder of Shagmag, a men’s title that no longer exists.
It remains to be seen if male crypto fans are as retrograde as the Superbasedd leadership seems to think they are, if it can raise sufficient advertising and circulation revenue based on that premise and if it can navigate the risky business of printing and distributing magazines.
The title generated almost $1.1 million with an NFT offer tied to a three-year subscription. There will also be a one-year subscription costing $99, CoinDesk continues.

Superbasedd calls itself a “degenerate media company” on X.
It promises to cover the wacky world of crypto with stories from the trenches.
“What we do know is that they seem to be going all in on everything your youth pastor would warn you about — crypto, sports betting, sex,” writes the crypto Mint or Skip site.
