AOL Hikes Dial-Up Price

In hopes of persuading consumers to upgrade to broadband, AOL is raising the price of its dial-up service by $2 to $25.90 a month--the same as its new broadband service, the company announced Wednesday. AOL currently has almost 20 million subscribers total (about 14 million dial-up subscribers, and 6 million broadband users)--down from more than 26 million four years ago.
