Todd Wilson has been promoted to the position of southeast regional publisher by Community Newspapers, Inc. (CNI).

Wilson will oversee all of the firm’s Florida newspapers. 

The new Southeast Region includes Lake City Reporter, News Leader of Fernandina Beach, Nassau County Record of Callahan and Tribune & Georgian of St. Marys, Georgia. These newspapers also publish 20 magazines. 

Wilson has also been named the interim publisher of News Leader in Fernandina Beach pending the hiring of a new full-time publisher. The former regional publisher Roy Maloy, retired in January. 

Wilson has served as regional publisher of Lake City for 16 years. The headquarters of the Southeast Region will be in Lake City.
