
Jim Mullen has stepped down as the chief executive of
Reach, publisher of the Mirror, Express and other UK publications.
Mullen, who joined Reach in 2019, is leaving by “mutual agreement,”
The Telegraph reports. He will become chief executive of the Jockey Club in June.
Replacing Mullen as chief executive is Piers North, currently chief revenue officer,
The Telegraph adds.
Critics have pointed to the doubling of Mullen’s salary to £1.25 million last year, The Telegraph states.

Early this year, Reach discovered a £5 million "black hole" in a separate pension fund, The Telegraph says.
